One of the joys of authors publishing their backlists electronically is finding some old friends that have been out of print for years.
One of my favorite authors in the '70's and '80's is Lee Killough. For those who may not know, Lee excelled in mixing the police procedural with sci-fi and fantasy. If her Garreth Mikaelian series was published today, it would fall solidly in the urban fantasy sub-genre.
I was excited to stumble across a couple of Lee's books when I surfed Amazon over the weekend. Maybe, just maybe, we'll see more of her books that she's regained rights to on Kindle soon. Keep your fingers crossed, folks!
