In the feedback I've received for my first two novels, I've noticed an interesting phenomenon. Female readers overwhelmingly prefer Caesar, the hero of Blood Magick. Male readers overwhelmingly prefer Duncan from Zombie Love.
Granted Blood Magick leans more toward a romance and Zombie Love more toward an action-adventure story, but I'm not sure that accounts for the sharp divide.
So, for those of you who've read either or both books, which gentleman do you prefer and why?
