RIP Borders

For those of you who haven't heard, Borders is closing its doors.  The going-out-of-business sale starts today, and experts believe all assets will be sold by the end of September.  The company simply got to the point where the bankruptcy judge and everyone else involved knew it would never be solvent again.

While I'm queen of the coupons and good deals at home, this development still makes me sad as both a reader and as a writer.
